14^th Microencapsulation Training School

Nancy, France - October 8-11, 2024

The BRG association (Bioencapsulation Research Group) organizes a training school related to microencapsulation for researchers, PhD students, Post-docs and industrials.

The aim of this thematic school is to create a stimulating and enriching learning environment, providing participants with an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of microencapsulation. The proposed program will make it possible to explore new techniques for the microencapsulation of biomolecules, bacteria or animal cells.

Interventions in the form of lectures, demonstrations and practical assignements will allow participants to acquire theoretical and experimental skills.

This training school will be an opportunity to interact with experts in the field and to create or expand your network around bioencapsulation, thus promoting future collaborations.

Lectures from Outstanding experts

The training school lectures will cover the principles of capsule production, including material and methods, characterization, and applications. Lectures from leading experts will cover a wide range of microencapsulation domains.

Demonstrations and Practical Assignments

Demonstrations will complete the lectures to provide a more practical approach to microencapsulation. Different encapsulation technologies will be presented, together with characterization methods. Small group practical assignments will complete the training, allowing participants to become familiar with the material and methods.

Poster presentation

You are invited to bring poster that will be presented during the coffee breaks.

A prize will be offered to the best poster selected by the scientific committee.
