Promoting excellence and networking

The Bioencapsulation Research Group wishes to promote high quality conferences and networking by

  • providing travel and participation financial support, to offer equality of opportunity to participate in the event,
  • offering a 30% reduction of registration fees for groups composed of a professor and at least 2 students,
  • awarding students best contributions.

Poncelet award Thanks to the initiative of members of the association and with the financial support of Procter & Gamble, the Poncelet Award rewards one person having contributed significantly to development and innovation in the domain of bioencapsulation. The award winner is selected by the scientific committee and is presented during the annual BRG conference. The award consists of a trophy, a diploma and a 1000 € prize.
Student best contribution prizes
  • The ten best student contributions (oral and poster) will be selected by the scientific committee during the event.
  • Nominees will be announced at the end of the last session.
  • Prizes will consist of a diploma and a gift.
  • The winner must be present during the award ceremony or will be disqualified.
  • The ten best student contributions will be published in the BRG newsletter.
Scholarship - Financial support

The Bioencapsulation Research Group will endeavor to attribute up to 40 grants based on the following criteria :

  • Scholarships are provided on merit and not as a gift or a right.
  • Scholarships will be ONLY attributed to registrants who submitted at least one contribution accepted before 31-05-2016.
  • Selection is based on the quality of the contribution as evaluated by the scientific committee.
  • The BRG is willing to provide equality of opportunity to participate in the conference, grants will be preferably attributed to graduate students and young researchers less than 30 years old, occasionally researchers coming from emerging or distant countries.
  • No one can receive more than one grant over a period of two years.

  • A scholarship amount ranging from 300 € to 1000 € will help selected participants to partially cover their participation fees and travel expenses.
  • Scholarships are attributed personally and are non-transferable.
  • The scholarship attribution will be communicated after 25-06-2016. Once logged in to the conference website, scholarship attribution is noted under "Status and Payment" option in the Registration menu.
  • If you were selected for a scholarship, but can not attend, please inform the conference organizers through the Contact page as soon as possible.
  • No answer will be provided regarding financial support attribution.
